Acquisition of Flensburg specialty paper mill from Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe completed

QCP made the announcement at the beginning of September. After the takeover, the paper mill will continue as an independent company under the name Fjord Paper Flensburg GmbH and all employees - more than 200 in number - will continue to be employed, according to the statement.

In Flensburg, the company produces coated speciality papers with a focus on thermal and barrier papers on one paper machine and two coating machines with a total annual capacity of 35,000 tonnes and distributes them worldwide.
