APPM invests in new paper mill with Arkhbum Liner
News General news
The Russian Pulp and Paper Mill Arkhangelsk (APPM) is pressing ahead with the realization of one of its three major projects.

As reported at the beginning of the year, the company was planning to build a paper mill for the production of corrugated base paper based on recovered paper. APPM and the governor of the Moscow region have now signed an official agreement to implement the project in the city of Kashira.
The paper machine is scheduled to go into operation by the end of 2028. The project provides for investments of 23 billion roubles and will create around 250 new jobs, explains APPM. The project will enable the APPM Group to meet the Russian government's requirements in the context of extended producer responsibility for the recycling of packaging.
