British paper industry registers decline in production and consumption in 2022

The effects of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine also dominated geopolitical events in 2022.

These difficult conditions are also reflected in the statistics collected by the CPI: British paper and board production fell by almost 5% to 3.46 million tons in 2022, reaching a 40-year low.
