ESD - Paper Meander Packaging now new from Froeb-Verpackungen
News General news
In meander packaging, ESD film is glued into ESD cardboard boxes in a looped pattern to serve as slots for electronic components.
Meander packaging is particularly well-suited for long and narrow components, as the smooth surface of the ESD film ensures that the components “slide” quickly into the individual loops of the film. Nevertheless, the meander shape securely prevents the components from “slipping out,” as the loop shape counteracts this.
The advantage of meander packaging is that components of varying lengths can be stored in a single package if the entire package is lined with film. When developing product-specific packaging, the entire package does not need to be fully lined with ESD film to conserve resources; instead, the film can be used only partially.
ESD Meander Packaging Made from 100% Paper
We now also offer our ESD film insert system in a meander shape as an environmentally friendly version made from 100% paper. The ESD film, which is glued in a loop shape inside ESD cardboard boxes to create numerous slots for printed circuit boards, LED strips, and other items, has been replaced here with antistatic paper. This allows us to now offer a completely environmentally friendly and recyclable product range of ESD packaging materials.
