Four Dynamic Days in Barcelona: EyeC Reports Strong Results from Labelexpo Europe 2025
News General news
EyeC GmbH looks back on a successful participation at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona. The international trade fair for labeling and packaging solutions provided the ideal platform to showcase the latest developments in automated artwork inspection and print image verification, while engaging directly with customers, partners, and industry experts from around the world.
From September 16 - 19, 2025, EyeC presented its latest innovations and solutions for automated artwork and print image inspection across prepress, offline, and inline applications. At the center of attention was the company’s new AI-powered defect classification for the EyeC ProofRunner Web inline inspection system. For the first time, artificial intelligence enables fully automated, content-based analysis of quality deviations. The pre-trained system categorizes detected defects with high precision, differentiating between quality-critical errors that require attention and minor deviations that do not affect the final product.
Another highlight was the launch of the EyeC Proofiler Graphic Connect, a SaaS-based prepress solution that runs independently of operating systems and hardware. It compares print-ready or step-and-repeat files with approved artwork files. With its intuitive user interface and seamless integration into leading workflow systems such as Esko and Hybrid Software, this cloud solution offers a modern response to the increasing demands of the graphics and
packaging industries.
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore EyeC solutions at the booths of partners Esko, Hybrid Software, and ROTOCON. Attendees especially valued the live demonstrations and direct technical exchange with EyeC experts.
“Once again, Labelexpo Europe has proven its importance as a central platform for our industry,” said Markus Fietkau, Sales Director at EyeC GmbH. “Our presence in Barcelona confirmed that EyeC solutions and innovations set the benchmark in print image inspection. Along with multiple systems sold directly at the show, we’re bringing back valuable insights and concrete inquiries. We look forward to turning these new connections into long-term business success.
The next edition of Labelexpo Europe, which will move forward under the new name “LOUPE”, is scheduled for 2027, with EyeC already planning to participate.
