Glücksblatt - Successful market launch of the new tissue paper brand

Fripa Markenvertriebs GmbH is setting an example with the launch of the new "Glücksblatt" brand: Successful product innovations are also possible in the hygiene paper market, which is considered to be saturated. Following the establishment of the sustainable lifestyle brand "oecolife", the company is now proving this with another bold step in this highly competitive market. With a fresh product range of toilet paper and kitchen rolls of the highest paper quality, Glücksblatt is taking on the challenges of a market dominated by private labels as a new player.

With "Glücksblatt", the company is responding to the high consumer demand for white, high-quality hygiene paper made from virgin pulp. "With a modern, fresh and feminine packaging design in delicate pastel colours, Glücksblatt is now spreading gentle moments of happiness in the bathroom and kitchen," says Andreas Jörn, Managing Director of Fripa Markenvertriebs GmbH, based in Miltenberg, Bavaria.

First listings in the food retail sector

In food retailing, the brand, which was previously only available to order online, is now also listed in the first retail chains. Large-scale campaigns, such as the delivery of 5,000 pallets of promotional goods to a strategically valuable retail partner, mark a significant moment in Glücksblatt's young success story and emphasise the trust that the market already places in Glücksblatt. Andreas Jörn and his team primarily involved customers in the product design before the stationary market launch. Jörn: "We not only listened, but also acted. Based on the feedback, we have expanded our basic range consisting of kitchen rolls as well as 3-ply and 4-ply toilet paper and now also offer toilet paper with a subtle fragrance and coloured cloverleaf embossing or our "lucky embossing". Our current special edition with a fresh floral fragrance and lilac-coloured lucky embossing is particularly popular. This is another step towards ensuring that our products not only fulfil needs, but also bring joy and a touch of happiness to everyday life."

Happiness is measured very individually. We therefore cater to different customer needs and offer Glücksblatt both in conventional 8-packs for retailers and in large boxes of up to 75 rolls for bulk buyers.

"Glücksblatt - happily cared for - sheet by sheet" is the brand promise. The tissue paper is made from 100% certified virgin pulp. State-of-the-art embossing technology makes the paper produced in Miltenberg particularly gentle and exceptionally soft for everyday hygiene. Happiness is not only in the name, but also in the embossing on the toilet paper. The high paper quality is also reflected in the strong absorbency and tear resistance of the kitchen towels.
In addition, the toilet paper is "PEFC" certified and the kitchen towels from Glücksblatt are "FSC" certified and dermatologically tested. Both certifications stand for a high degree of transparency with regard to secure, sustainable forest management.
