The transfer of Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich KG and its subsidiary Fripa Markenvertriebs GmbH was entered into the commercial register on June 8, 2026, and took effect retroactively as of December 31, 2025. According to a press release, the holding company now brings together five companies with four production sites in Germany, Switzerland, and Poland. In addition to the two Fripa companies, these include Tela GmbH, Cartaseta AG, and Fabryka Papieru Czerwonak.

Fripa Will Continue to Operate as an Independent Company

According to the information provided, the new structure is intended to leverage synergies—particularly in the areas of procurement, production, technology, and organization—and to strengthen the group’s competitiveness. Fripa and Fripa Markenvertriebs GmbH will continue to operate as independent companies. For customers, suppliers, and business partners, there will be no changes to contact persons or business relationships.

The German tissue paper manufacturer has recently implemented several measures to strengthen its competitiveness. These include, among other things, a new technical building and the construction of a new paper machine at the Miltenberg site.
