Another French manufacturer of corrugated base paper is fighting for survival. Following the recent filing for restructuring by the Wizpaper paper mill and its subsequent liquidation, Gemdoubs is now also facing difficulties.

The company applied for creditor protection and the commercial court imposed restructuring proceedings on the manufacturer of corrugated base paper made from waste paper. Gemdoubs told EUWID that it plans to undergo a restructuring process with the stated aim of continuing operations. Production is to continue as normal until further notice.

“But we have no intention of closing down,” emphasized a company spokesperson on behalf of the company's two shareholders.
