Hamburger Containerboard plans to raise prices for brown corrugated base paper.

The surcharge is to take effect on February 1, 2026, and will amount to €100 per ton. The paper manufacturer announced this in a press release.
Hamburger Containerboard's parent company, the Prinzhorn Group, is divided into three business areas: Dunapack Packaging (corrugated packaging solutions), Hamburger Containerboard (production of corrugated base paper), and Hamburger Recycling Group (collection and trading of secondary raw materials).
EUWID recently reported that prices for AP packaging paper are under pressure at the turn of 2026 and pointed to demands for price increases from paper mills.
