The Danish manufacturer of molded fiber packaging for the egg industry Hartmann Packaging A/S takes over a subsidiary of the Turkish Dentaş Kağıt Sanayi AŞ in Romania.
According to Hartmann, a definitive agreement has already been signed with Dentas on the acquisition of the Romanian SC Dentaş Romania SRL based in Tărtăşeşti. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Hartmann Packaging was founded in 1917 and describes itself as the world's largest manufacturer of molded egg packaging and a leader in the technology used to produce this packaging. The company employs around 3,200 people in Europe, Asia and North and South America.
