Heinzel Group Announces Price Increase for Kraft Paper Starting in April

The Heinzel Group has announced plans to raise prices for “Starkraft” brand kraft paper.

According to the company, prices for all kraft paper grades are set to rise by €70–100 per ton—depending on the grade and segment. Heinzel cites significantly increased raw material costs as the reason for the measure.

The price increases are set to take effect no later than April 1, 2026. The Starkraft sales team will contact customers shortly.

The Starkraft brand encompasses bleached and unbleached kraft papers for use in applications such as flexible packaging, with a total annual production capacity of 340,000 tons.
