With Kirsten Hommelhoff, "we have gained an experienced lobbyist and excellent association manager who can build on the bvdm's previous successes but will also set new accents in the structural change of the printing industry," says Wolfgang Poppen, President of the German Printing and Media Industries Federation, who is delighted with the new appointment. Kirsten Hommelhoff comes from the Federal Association of German Foundations, which she has strategically reorganised and future-oriented as Secretary General in recent years. Ms Hommelhoff previously worked for the Mercator Foundation, a large transport group and a member of the Bundestag.
