Konradin Druck: Search for investors remains unsuccessful
News General news
The search by Konradin Druck GmbH (Konradin) from Leinfelden-Echterdingen for an investor was unsuccessful. Insolvency proceedings were finally opened on May 1, 2025.

The competent local court in Esslingen had appointed the lawyer Tobias Wahl (Anchor) as insolvency administrator. He had already been involved in the proceedings as provisional insolvency administrator.
According to the insolvency administrator, production is to be completely phased out by June 30, 2025. New orders can only be accepted if completion is guaranteed by the date of production shutdown. When asked, the responsible clerk at the law firm confirmed to EUWID that, despite all efforts, no new investor could be found. She justified this with the overall economic situation in the printing industry and the special niche situation of the company, which produces for customers in the weakening automotive industry. These factors made the purchase of the company appear unattractive to potential investors, according to the administrator.
Konradin currently employs around 100 people, for whom socially acceptable solutions are being sought. Konradin produces catalogs and magazines in sheet-fed and offset printing.
