Melter invests in Ricoh ProTM VC80000 to increase productivity and expand the company's production

By investing in the Ricoh Pro VC80000, which was developed specifically for the requirements of the graphics industry and is equipped with AI-supported workflow automation and state-of-the-art high-speed inkjet technology, Melter is taking the productivity, flexibility, and efficiency of its production printing to a new level.

Since its founding in 1912, Melter wrote the first chapter of its success story in classic letterpress printing and high-quality industrial pre-printed forms. Over four “family generations,” the company has succeeded in developing into one of Europe's leading providers of modern direct marketing through consistent expansion and modernization of its services and technologies. Today, Melter continues this strong tradition, combining its deep-rooted expertise in the printing industry with innovative cross-media applications.

Now comes the next step: with the new Ricoh Pro VC80000, Melter is expanding its production capacities and once again relying on state-of-the-art technology. The printing system impresses with its high productivity in the production of personalized print products in outstanding quality, especially on coated offset papers up to 300 g/m2 at speeds of up to 150 m per minute. In addition, the printing system scores with outstanding print quality and a space-saving, compact design. Thanks to the patented Ricoh Firefly drying system, immediate drying is guaranteed even with high ink coverage on coated offset paper – a decisive advantage for maximum efficiency and quality.
