This was confirmed by an MM spokesperson at the request of EUWID. Cartonboard production has been running again since 31 October, after the implementation of the modernization project to rebuild cartonboard machine 3 in Kolicevo was started as planned during the third quarter at the end of August.

According to the spokesperson, the start-up phase of the mill is currently running according to plan. MM had previously carried out work on the dryer section and the rewinder of the cartonboard machine, among other things. As a result, the production capacity of the KM 3, which can produce both recycled and virgin fiber-based cartonboard as well as liner in grammages of 180-450 gsm in swing mode, has increased slightly. Previously, the KM 3 had a production capacity of around 225,000 tons per year.
