Corrugated base paper: Model plans to start up rebuilt paper machine in Eilenburg in April

Model is therefore only a few days behind the original date, which was scheduled for March 2024.

Model acquired the paper mill from Stora Enso and has been converting it from the production of newsprint to AP corrugated base paper since late 2023. The paper machine has a capacity of approx. 600,000 tonnes per year. The site operates under the name Model Sachsen Papier GmbH and will supply both its own corrugated board plants and the open market.
