Nordpack takes over insolvent Coburger Kartonagenfabrik

After Coburger Kartonagenfabrik was forced to open insolvency proceedings at the beginning of March, a buyer has now been found in the form of packaging retailer Nordpack, based in Isernhagen.

The takeover was completed on July 1, 2025. According to the responsible lawyer Klaus-Christof Ehrlicher, the company will operate on the market under the name Coburger Kartonagen in future. Both the administration and production will remain at the Dörfles-Esbach site.

Coburger Kartonagenfabrik filed for insolvency in the spring of this year.
