Paper manufacturer Palm launches new packaging plant in Alzenau

The Palm Group will commence operations at its new corrugated cardboard plant in Alzenau in the second quarter of 2026.
Following the start of construction in 2024, the buildings and high-bay warehouse have been completed, and the production and processing equipment is currently being installed, the company confirmed to EUWID.
With this €200 million greenfield investment, Palm has merged two existing plants in Alzenau and Hasselroth-Gondsroth. The new location will take over all employees and orders from the previous production sites. The start of operations in Alzenau will even lead to an increase in personnel. However, the investment does not include an expansion of capacity in the production of corrugated cardboard packaging. Production in Alzenau and Hasselroth-Gondsroth will be gradually transferred to the new facilities by the third quarter.
