Paperiliitto joins strikes in Finland

According to a statement, Paperiliitto, like many other unions outside the paper industry, is organising two-day so-called political strikes in several factories. The strikes will begin on the morning of 1 February and end on the morning of 3 February.

Trade union representatives from the Stora Enso mills in Uimaharju, Imatra, Oulu and Varkaude, the UPM mills in Kaukaa, Kymi, Pietarsaari and Rauma and Huhtamäki Oyj are taking part in the strike, Paperiliitto reports.
