In the meantime, operations at the production site in Bautzen are continuing without restriction. The company has not yet made any public statements about the reasons for the insolvency. The court finally appointed Rüdiger Bauch from the law firm Schultze & Braun as provisional administrator.

“The aim is to continue to explore investor solutions during the self-administration proceedings and, in this context, to further develop our business model strategically,” explains Christian Baumann, managing director of the company founded in 1896.

Perfecta Schneidemaschinen GmbH in Bautzen is part of the Baumann Group. Other subsidiaries are not affected by the insolvency. Perfecta specializes in the construction of paper cutting machines and complete cutting systems, which are used in the commercial and packaging industries as well as in the digital and label printing segment.
