Olivier Minger, CFO Perlen Packaging:
"I am delighted to be on board at Perlen Packaging. I am 45, married and a father of two children. My professional career has taken me through various positions in internationally oriented companies in the pharmaceutical market. Until recently, I was CFO at Fresenius Kabi for eight years.

In my daily work I am supported by a great international team at Perlen Packaging. Together with my management colleagues, I will continue to drive the successful international orientation and strategy of the Perlen Packaging Group in order to achieve further sustainable and profitable growth.

One of my first tasks was to acquire the remaining minority shares in Perlen Packaging Ltd. in Anápolis (Brazil). In times of limited travel and contact opportunities, contract negotiations are a special challenge. Through excellent teamwork, a structured M&A process and very good local support, we managed to successfully close this transaction in the fourth quarter of 2020. In a next step, we have redefined the capital structure, so nothing stands in the way of the planned investment and the start of production of the new coating line in Anápolis in the second quarter of 2021.

The expansion of the site in Anápolis and the 2021 investment in new coating capacities are another milestone in the successful development of Perlen Packaging's strategy.

My motto is: "Create opportunities and identify risks early." Our quality and product leadership has to be expanded further. By focusing on our customers and macroeconomic developments, we will generate sustainable and profitable growth through consistent actions."
