Press roll technology: shaping and compaction at the highest level
MWN offers a wide range of press rolls for dewatering and compacting materials in paper production. The technical specifications of MWN press rolls are impressive:
• Line load up to 500 kN/m for maximum dewatering
• Diameters up to 2000 mm for various applications
• Web length up to 12,000 mm for the widest paper webs
• All functional features including grooving and blind holes
Surface finishing is carried out according to the latest standards. Precise surface designs optimize paper properties and ensure consistent quality across the entire web width.

Modern production: innovation meets precision
MWN's production capacities have been continuously expanded and modernized. In 2023, a new 2800 m2 production hall was built, increasing the total production area to 10,400 m2. A state-of-the-art crane system with a 25 m span and 100 t load capacity enables the production and maintenance of rolls in completely new dimensions.
The state-of-the-art machine tool park includes:
• Gun drilling center for precise drilling
• Turning and grinding centers for exact surface finishing
• Balancing machine for perfect balance
• Computer-controlled deep hole drilling machine since the 1990s

A state-of-the-art test bench guarantees 100% quality. Here, rollers weighing up to 80 tons are tested at speeds of up to 2000 revolutions per minute. This ensures safety for the customer's production process.
