Reno de Medici Announces Price Increase for Recycled Cardboard Starting in October

Reno de Medici (RDM) plans to raise prices for recycled cardboard. According to a statement from the cardboard manufacturer, prices for recycled cardboard (GD) are set to increase by 80 €/t starting in October 2026.

Details regarding implementation and the timeline will be discussed directly with individual customers by the group’s sales teams. RDM explains that this decision is a response to the ongoing inflationary environment and the steady rise in production costs across numerous cost categories in the paper and cardboard industry.

Despite efforts to counter these pressures through measures to increase operational efficiency and manage costs, the current rise in costs can no longer be fully absorbed without affecting market prices.
