Saica follows through on its plans for the US market with the construction of another corrugated cardboard plant

The Spanish Saica Group has begun construction of its second corrugated cardboard plant in Anderson, Indiana, USA. The investment amounts to over US$110 million.

With this project, Saica is pursuing its broader expansion and investment strategy in the US. The company had previously announced investments totaling around US$800 million.

Among other things, the construction of a plant for the production of corrugated base paper was planned, with Dayton, Ohio, as a possible location. A final decision on this investment has not yet been made.
