Sappi Plans to Adjust Prices for Wood-Free Papers

Sappi Europe plans to increase prices for its entire range of wood-free coated papers in Europe by 5 to 7 percent. The new prices will apply to all new orders and deliveries effective October 12, 2026.

Sappi cites continued cost increases throughout the supply chain as the reason for the adjustment. These increases have impacted the profitability of paper production and necessitated a corresponding price adjustment. Despite ongoing measures to improve efficiency and control costs, the increase is necessary under current market conditions, according to a statement.

The company plans to inform its customers individually about the price adjustments.
