The tray is printed with a SUPD-compliant barrier coating made from renewable raw materials and enables the products to be shipped and defrosted safely. The tray replaces a double-sided coated virgin fibre cardboard tray, in which the tartlets and pies were additionally protected from greasing by a silicone-coated paper.

The optimised solution saves material and costs while improving recyclability. For processors and restaurateurs, this means less effort in logistics and faster handling in daily use.
