Stora Enso has shut down a paper machine at the Anjalakoski mill as planned in order to adjust production to market developments. From now on, the production of letterpress paper will be consolidated on one paper machine.

Production on PM 3 was discontinued on 28 November, explained Stora Enso. This will more than halve the production capacity for printing paper at the Anjala mill.

The Anjalakoski mill complex, consisting of the formerly separately named neighbouring Anjala (paper) and Ingerois (board) mills, produces not only letterpress paper but also magazine paper, newsprint and board.
