In 2001, a subsidiary of the Panther Group was established near Bremen to take over all service activities. For two decades now, customers have been using the services of PaKa Packaging-Service GmbH to cover temporary peaks and to outsource sub-areas. As a joint venture between Panther Packaging and the Kaminski company in Stuhr-Brinkum, PaKa Packaging-Service GmbH takes over the fulfillment of various services within the framework of outsourcing projects in product group management in order to achieve optimum rationalization effects. Customers can take advantage of the opportunity to supplement the internal packaging process in a task- or product-specific manner or to place the entire chain of tasks relating to packaging and presentation of products at the PoS in the competent hands of a specialist. Within the extensive range of services offered by the Panther Group, PaKa Packaging-Service has successfully established itself as a service provider.
When PaKa Packaging-Service was founded, the Panther Group contributed its entire know-how in packaging production, finishing and handling. In a trusting cooperation with customers from every conceivable industry, both founding partners of PaKa, Panther Packaging and the Kaminski company, contributed a high level of expertise in individual and cross-industry necessities on how to develop, manufacture and use optimal packaging for successful products. The much-cited facets of supply chain management are practical everyday life: PaKa's range of services provides the answer to responsible handling of production resources, labor and also profits.
This also applies to services relating to displays and PoS solutions: The external packaging of secondary placements, counter displays, decorative packages (including flyers, catalogs or other add-ons) as well as merchandise packages, folding cartons, mixed or assortment cartons and display stands are service offerings which, thanks to attentive quality control and order-related sorting and repackaging, can mean decisive time advantages for the customer during the market launch. In addition to this time saving, Panther's service package also opens up savings potential of an ecological nature: if secondary placement elements are fitted with individual retail components right at the display manufacturer's premises, there is no need to transport materials or empty PoS elements by truck. This has a positive and sustainable effect on the CO2 balance.
