Arctic Paper plans to raise prices for fine papers effective April 1. The increase is expected to be between 8% and 10% for wood-free uncoated and coated papers across the entire European market.
“This increase is driven by persistently high production costs, subdued market demand in a highly competitive environment, and the resulting unsustainably low sales prices,” Arctic Paper explains.
Arctic Paper operates three paper mills in Sweden and Poland with a total production capacity of just under 700,000 tons per year. Arctic's paper division recorded growth in the third quarter of 2025.
