Barem Ambalaj ramps up production at its paper mill in Konya

Barem Ambalaj’s new paper mill in the Konya Ereğli Organized Industrial Zone in Turkey reached a capacity utilization rate of approximately 60% in early March. This was reported in a stock exchange announcement by the manufacturer of recycled corrugated base paper.
The plant completed its trial production at the end of 2025 and began deliveries to customers on the last day of the year. Since the beginning of 2026, capacity utilization has been increasing month by month, while production is being expanded to accommodate various formats and quality requirements.
The plant was built with an investment of more than €100 million and is designed for the production of recycled corrugated base paper. Production capacity is estimated at approximately 260,000 to 300,000 metric tons per year.
