Brigl & Bergmeister plans price increase for label papers from April

Austrian paper manufacturer Brigl & Bergmeister intends to raise the prices of its entire product portfolio in the second quarter of 2026.

The company is therefore demanding a surcharge of €60/t for deliveries from April 1. This affects label papers (wet-strength and non-wet-strength) as well as flexible packaging and specialty papers.

Brigl & Bergmeister justifies the demand with significantly increased raw material costs and high energy costs.
