Drytac appoints Kieran Blacknall as Academy Manager

Drytac, the leading international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the large-format print and signage markets, is delighted to announce the appointment of Kieran Blacknall as Academy Manager in the UK.

Based out of Drytac’s specialist facility in Bristol, Kieran will oversee the Drytac Academy’s extensive curriculum of training courses for display graphics professionals.

The Drytac Academy showcases Drytac products and demonstrates how they can be used with the newest and most popular wide-format printing technologies. Drytac launched its fully interactive training centre in the Fishponds area of Bristol in early 2019.

Kieran will join Drytac having worked in the print industry for nearly a decade. He started out as a Copy Shop Assistant at Minuteman Press Bath before working his way up in the business to take on more senior roles including Visual Communications Manager and, most recently, Operations Manager.

Kieran will officially begin his new role with Drytac on July 3, 2023.

“We are delighted to welcome Kieran to the Drytac team as our new Academy Manager,” says Hayden Kelley, CEO of Drytac. “Kieran has an incredible passion for print and – having worked in the industry for a number of years on the customer side – he will offer expert advice and guidance to professionals taking part in Drytac Academy sessions.”

Kieran adds: “Educating workers about the latest technologies and techniques is absolutely key in ensuring they can produce the highest quality of print possible. I’m delighted to be taking on a role that will allow me to work with professionals across a wide range of markets and advise them on how Drytac and its partners can support them moving forward.”
