emtec Electronic in Apeldoorn: Innovative Measuring Devices for Sustainable Process Optimization and Quality Improvement
News General news
The Association of Dutch Papermakers (VNP) will meet on June 25 and 26 in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, for the International Seminar Technology Ring. The German company emtec Electronic will use this opportunity to present its measuring innovations at a booth, talk to the paper and board experts and exchange new ideas.

At the beginning of this year ́s summer, VNP Millvision invites to its Technology Ring Seminar under the motto “Raw materials and stock preparation”. In keeping with the topic, Philipp Sievers, Sales Area Manager at emtec Electronic, will be presenting the two yellow laboratory measuring devices for particle charge and zeta potential. The features of the CAS touch Charge Analyzing System and the FPA touch Fiber Potential Analyzer are particularly appreciated by chemical suppliers: they are ready to use immediately after unpacking and are very easy to operate. Both devices also impress with their low weight and small size, so that they can each be transported in a hand luggage or both together in a larger suitcase.
Another highlight for the wet end of paper production is the automatic measuring device FPO Fiber Potential Analyzer Online: it performs sampling, measurement and cleaning independently and requires very low maintenance. It can be installed via two hoses as connection points for sampling at different points in the paper machine in order to take samples alternately before and after a dosing point for additives, for example. The emtec FPO performs a maximum of six measurements per hour and continuously transfers the measured values to the process control system or to a secure data cloud for worldwide remote access.
To assess the haptic properties of tissue products, emtec Electronic presents its TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer in a new design. Equipped with a touchscreen, it is even easier to operate than its predecessor model. Options for determining optical and thermo-haptic properties are also available.
The innovative ACA Ash Content Analyzer replaces the traditional combustion method and detects the total mineral filler content and the individual fillers in paper and board within two minutes – without destroying the sample.
All interested seminar participants are cordially invited to visit the emtec stand. Philipp Sievers will demonstrate the innovative devices, answer questions and discuss new ideas.
