After a two-year pandemic break, the Zellcheming Expo returns to the Rhein-Main Congress Centre in Wiesbaden. Once again, it brings together experts from the pulp and paper industry to discuss new perspectives, developments and opportunities.

Under the guiding theme "The Future in Every Fibre", the oldest trade fair of its kind promises to provide a wealth of new impulses to ensure the future viability of the industry in Germany and Europe. The focus is on forward-looking process and product technologies, new initiatives and innovative solutions to drive the energy transition - the change to a climate-neutral bioeconomy.

The Leipzig-based equipment manufacturer emtec Electronic GmbH will also be on site this year and will present selected metrological solutions, especially products that support paper manufacturers in optimising their production processes. The company, which is more than 25 years old, specialises in the development and manufacture of measuring and testing devices for pulp, paper and board and supplies customers in more than 80 countries around the world.

One of the devices on display, the emtec ACA Ash Content Analyser, enables manufacturers to make significant savings in material, energy and time. Based on X-ray transmission and fluorescence, the emtec ACA quickly and non-destructively determines the total filler content as well as the percentage distribution of the individual components in a paper sample. The fast measurement procedure leads to an almost immediate availability of the measurement results and thus enables a quick reaction to changes in the process.

"With the help of the emtec ACA, paper manufacturers can make more efficient use of fillers and, among other things, thereby guarantee the required quality of the intermediate and finished product," explains Alexander Grüner, Global Marketing and Business Development Manager at emtec.

Visitors to the Zellcheming Expo are cordially invited to be welcomed by the emtec Electronic team, including its founder Giselher Grüner, at Stand 14a in Hall North.
