Gissler & Pass Rodenberg - Plant closure averted through self-administered insolvency

The corrugated cardboard company Gissler & Pass Rodenberg GmbH has initiated a comprehensive restructuring of its plant in Rodenberg, Lower Saxony.
This has averted the threat of closure, according to an announcement made by Paeffgen Rechtsanwalts Gesellschaft mbH in Bonn at the end of December. The restructuring is intended to restructure the plant and preserve ‘numerous jobs’.
The focus is now on maintaining the production areas: ‘We are transforming our company and are using the process of self-administered insolvency based on a viable restructuring concept. In this way, we are securing the core areas of our performance for our customers and the region,’ comments Claudia Gissler-Weber, managing director of Gissler & Pass Rodenberg GmbH. She cites the current ‘difficult market conditions’ as the reason for these developments.
