It is generally known that corrugated board is versatile - especially packaging material is often made largely of corrugated board. It is also no longer a secret that there are even furniture designers who can make cupboards, tables or beds out of corrugated board. But a whole house made of corrugated board? That seems rather strange... and yet: a Dutch company has specialised in building houses out of corrugated cardboard!

The constructions called "Wikkelhouse" can be bought in different sizes and with different equipment at prices between 40,000 € and 85,000 €. It is also no problem to equip them with a bathroom, a kitchen and a stove. The lifespan of such a house is said to be 50 years and they are already working on making it 100% biodegradable!
