Kunert Group Announces Price Increase for Tube Board
News General news
The Kunert Group has announced a price increase for tube board. The increase is set to take effect on September 1, 2026, and applies to both of the Group’s paper mills, Carl Macher and Papeteries du Rhin.
The company attributes the price adjustment of at least 10% to persistently high cost pressures across all areas of production. It notes that it is currently difficult to predict how costs will develop in the coming months. Should the current trend continue, the Kunert Group does not rule out further price adjustments in the near future.
Carl Macher and Papeteries du Rhin are part of the Kunert Group, which operates a total of 17 production sites for tube board, paper tubes, and corrugated cardboard in Europe and Asia and employs approximately 2,000 people. In addition, the group maintains sales offices in Europe and Asia and is a member of a global partner network.
According to the company, the Kunert Group’s annual production totals approximately 330,000 metric tons of paper tubes, corrugated cardboard, and edge protectors, as well as approximately 250,000 metric tons of tube board.
