By integrating the site into its existing industrial platform in Germany—which comprises several cardboard and converting plants—MM expects to realize significant synergies that will enable the plant’s turnaround. Furthermore, the acquisition is expected to contribute to greater production flexibility, improved supply security, and an even broader range of products and services for customers.

All employees at the plant will be retained by MM. No details regarding the purchase price have been disclosed.

The acquisition is subject to receiving the necessary antitrust approvals. As of today, the transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
