Panther Display: The packaging is the display

With the innovation "Packing itself", Panther Display GmbH & Co. KG presents a technically sophisticated secondary placement that is economical in many respects. The display, which is completely "built into" a corrugated cardboard packaging sleeve, combines the function of transport packaging (sleeve) with that of an inverted case. This is made possible by a double folding, thanks to which the inside of the packaging is turned inside out when it is opened to create the secondary placement. Panther Display uses the example of fictitious cosmetic products to demonstrate the clever features of this innovation.

Everything inside: The ready-made display, consisting of topper, four tray levels, base as well as rear and two side panels, is integrated into the packaging. This way, the entire package achieves considerable savings in logistics. Because only one storage space is needed in the warehouse, the lower shipping volume causes less CO2 through better utilisation of space in the lorry and the integrated topper does not need to be disposed of separately at the retailer. Moreover, it does not even have to be set up separately.

But it is not only the material savings of "Packing itself" that are convincing. The faster availability of the innovative packaging-display unit is also advantageous: waiting times for the shipping packaging are completely eliminated with this solution.

The secondary placement, which is made entirely of corrugated board, can be finished with any desired, individual and brand-marking print motif. The stable and material-saving design is suitable for a wide variety of products, including heavy ones from the cosmetics sector, but also for many other consumer goods. After the end of the campaign, the display material can be reused by returning it to the waste paper recycling system.
