Panther: Hot air balloon made of honeycomb rosette gives display weightless lightness

The renewed cooperation between Panther Display GmbH & Co. KG with Staedtler continues a very successful partnership. For the current promotion campaign of the manufacturer of painting, drawing and crafting utensils, a secondary placement was created that makes a hot air balloon, made from a honeycomb rosette, the central eye-catcher. With a recycled content of 75%, the display experts in Wustermark have also focused on sustainability in the selection of raw materials for this secondary placement made of corrugated board.

Like the partly award-winning display developments of recent years for Staedtler, for example the Staedtler Back-to-School campaign for 2021, which won a World Star, the new PoS presentation for a wide variety of colored pencils and other utensils for drawing creates a fantasy world all of its own. The secondary placement implemented for 2022 thus follows in the imaginative tradition of the displays presented previously: the Staedtler Back-to-School campaign for 2021 was dedicated to the theme of "Nature". The central eye-catcher of the display was a towering tree with a three-dimensional leaf canopy. Through the filigree paper structure of a rosette, the element appealed to several senses of the consumers at once: With a slight breeze, the honeycomb rosette moved as if in the natural environment of a forest.

In the 2020 back-to-school campaign, the theme world "distant galaxies and planets" dictated the design of the display. In collaboration with Staedtler, Panther Display developed the three-dimensional shape of a launching rocket.

For the start of school in 2019, the Nuremberg-based manufacturer of creative products opened the back-to-school theme campaign with a secondary placement that appealed to young people and adults alike. Visible from afar, the Staedtler display in the shape of a dragon attracted interested parties and formed a sympathetically colorful frame for painting and drawing utensils.

The idea of the honeycomb rosette, which has won both national and international awards, is now also being taken up by the current 2022 display design and, with the variant of a hot-air balloon including the car, shows how variously the honeycombs can be shaped.

At a total height of more than 1.80 meters and 1.10 meters wide, a colorful mountain landscape under a blue sky is created on the display with a central wall. This already begins on the pallet wrapping, from which laterally supporting elements continue the print motif to the centrally placed support wall for the attached trays and hanging goods.

The products are presented on two sides and are therefore clearly arranged and easily accessible. The brightly colored balloon is fixed to the side of the towering steele and is a point of attraction at the PoS that is visible from afar.

At the end of the campaign, the display made of corrugated board, including the corrugated board pallet, goes back into the material cycle and is put to a new use via waste paper recycling.
