Further success for Panther Pharma Service: now also for veterinary medicinal products

After the successful audit in November 2022, Panther Display has also had the manufacturing license for the packaging and order picking of veterinary medicinal products in the Panther Pharma Service area since December. The legal basis for this is §28 paragraph 1 of the Veterinary Drugs Act (TAMG). The team of experts is thus expanding the customer base and giving manufacturers of veterinary medicines and medical preparations for pets or livestock access to the extensive range of services.
The new audit was a prerequisite for the granting of the further manufacturing license, because this is based on the specific legislation mentioned and on Article 88 paragraph 2 of the EU Regulation 2019/6 on veterinary medicinal products in conjunction with Section 15 of the TAMG. The GMP certificate (Good Manufacturing Practice) is available.
Panther is now authorized to offer, among other things, the re-labelling and re-packaging of already approved veterinary medicinal products and the storage of the products after conversion and their re-approval by a competent person.
The team in the area of Panther Pharma Service is a business area of Panther Display GmbH & Co. KG based in Wustermark (Berlin-Brandenburg), a subsidiary of Panther Packaging. With the full service, the specialized employees are now on hand to advise manufacturers of human and veterinary products as partners. With the investment in additional high-performance machines, capacities in the pharmaceutical sector were expanded and productivity increased over the course of the past year.

In the appropriately equipped premises with temperature control and GMP-compliant standard operations procedure quality management system, all requirements of the health authorities with regard to product quality are met.
