Paper, board and tissue in contact with food: New legal developments, products and analytical requirements

From March 3rd to March 4th, 2021, the established PTS conference "Paper & Board for Food Contact" will take place again - this time with two innovations. Firstly, the conference language will be English and secondly, the event will be offered as an online event.
These changes offer participants an innovative programme, diverse topics and contributions from international experts. The renowned speakers from science, authorities and industry will provide updates and impulses in the following subject areas:
- Current legal developments in Europe, Germany and Denmark
- GMP guidelines and halal production of paper and board
- Developments on titanium dioxide
- Ingredients such as BPS in thermal papers or perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in P&B
- Analytical results on the release of substances (PFAS, BPA/BPS, Pergafast201; Aluminium, Chloropropanols)
- Optimisation of packaging through software-based prediction of shelf life
- Expert discussions and exchange
With the combination of English conference language and online event, the event is aimed at an international field of participants as well as R&D, production management, QM managers, purchasing, sales staff and process engineers for whom the current developments in food contact materials are relevant.
