Better dewatering in the Press Section leads substantial improvement in dryness level when the sheet leaves the Press Section, into the Dryer Section. The Power Cleaner is equipped with air knives which guarantee a mist free operation; this means no rewetting of the felt or sheet will take place. Furthermore, the ProJet b.v. head is equipped with a vacuum system, created by Venturis, which will evacuate spray water and contamination away from the roll and away from the process.
