Sonoco Plans Price Increase for Sleeve Board

Sonoco has announced a price increase for sleeve board. The increase for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region amounts to 60 €/t and is set to take effect on September 15.

Sonoco cites ongoing cost pressures as the reason for the increase. According to the company, geopolitical conditions and the business environment have led to cost increases at its own facilities and throughout the supply chain.

In addition, Sonoco expects further increases in energy and fuel prices, which will place an additional burden on production and transportation costs.
