Texo Trade Services (TTS) has added a 700 m2 production hall to its premises on the Gouwe Park industrial estate in Moordrecht. In addition, 700 m2 more space will be usable in the current warehouse. TTS has grown enormously in recent years. For this reason, the company has decided to centralize its paper converting operations and attach them to the main site.

Own paper converting capacity
The TTS headquarters already has a respectable size of approx. 1,000 m2 of office space and approx. 5,000 m2 of floor space in the warehouse. With the new production hall, TTS sets further course and prepares for the future. The new premises will be used for the multiple converting of various papers. The in-house production capacity offers customers significant advantages. Sublimation and calendered papers up to a width of 330 cm are processed in the company's own production facility. A large stock, as well as the option to promptly implement any customer request, provides enormous flexibility and shortens delivery times. TTS converts high-quality papers, which are produced in the EU with the FSC label. This seal indicates that the wood used is produced in a responsible manner and comes from forests managed according to FSC standards. Thanks to its own converting facilities and the associated possibility of purchasing paper in jumbo rolls, TTS is able to offer these products to its customer base at extremely attractive conditions.

Investing in energy neutrality
When it comes to social responsibility and environmental awareness, TTS wants to further expand its pioneering role. For this reason, the company already invested in an energy-neutral building in 2018. In the final expansion phase of the warehouse in 2021, an additional 300 solar collectors were installed on the roof area in order to also be able to operate the energy-intensive ready-made clothing in a neutral manner. The company is also focusing on minimizing product packaging. TTS is also working closely with its customers to set up a recycling system and find new uses for formerly used polyester advertising space.

New launch: PPX- 25 g/m2 calendered paper
TTS is expanding its product range and now offers its customers PPX calander protection paper with 25 g/m2. This paper is used to protect the transport web in the calender from contamination. The new weight of 25 g/m2 allows TTS to wind a higher number of linear meters per roll. This creates more efficiency and requires less frequent roll changes for customers who previously used a 28 g/m2 paper. The PPX calendered paper range now includes grammages of: 17, 20, 25 and 28 grams, complemented by a 32 g/m2 (S2S) double-sided siliconized paper. TTS serves widths from 10 to 504 cm and offers roll diameters from 20 to 60 cm. The high quality is guaranteed by an optimized and carefully controlled production environment. It ensures that all PPX rolls can be produced absolutely crease-free. The company supplies the whole world with its papers from its headquarters in Moordrecht. In addition, TTS serves local markets in the UK and Italy from its own warehouses.

Warehouse expansion for printable textiles
In the current TTS main warehouse, an additional 700 m2 of space will be made available. This space is needed to meet the growing demand for textiles, such as flag fabric, light box fabric and decorative fabric.
Due to the extremely good and very stable quality of the printable textiles, combined with very competitive prices, TTS has achieved strong growth in this business area. The company recognized the signs of the market early on and rose to the challenges. Short response times and fast deliveries from stock are highly appreciated by TTS customers. Further expansion of warehouse capacity has secured this service for the future.
