Ukrainian paper mill damaged in missile attack

The Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill (KCPM), a subsidiary of the Austrian Pulp Mill Holding GmbH, was the target of a large-scale missile attack on March 14, 2026. The manufacturer of tissue paper, cardboard, and corrugated base paper confirmed to EUWID that large parts of production operations had to be suspended due to the damage caused by the missile strikes. The company emphasizes that all necessary measures are being taken to address the consequences of the damage and destruction and to assess the extent of the damage. In addition, restoration measures are being planned. Although the consequences are severe, part of production will continue.

“Aware of our high social responsibility toward our employees, customers, and partners, the owner of Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, Dr. Heinz Zinner, has decided to immediately provide additional funds for all reconstruction work,” the company explains.
