Tissue: Ulrika Kolsrud becomes CEO at Essity

The Supervisory Board of the Swedish tissue and healthcare group Essity, Stockholm, has appointed Ulrika Kolsrud as the company's new President and CEO.

She will assume the position on June 1, 2025 and succeeds Magnus Groth, who announced his resignation in spring 2025. Kolsrud has served as President of the Health & Medical business unit since 2019 and has been a member of Essity's Executive Management Team since 2015.

The 54-year-old has extensive experience in the areas of innovation, production and sales along the entire value chain, according to the company.

Essity generated sales of €13 billion in the 2024 financial year and employs around 36,000 people worldwide.
