As part of a strategic development, the company aims to become more competitive and sustainable in the long term. Major challenges on the global market are forcing the company to simplify processes, shorten decision-making paths, strengthen its market orientation, and invest specifically in future fields, explains Voith.

Germany is playing a central role in the review of possible adjustments. Although the location is characterized by technological expertise and innovative strength, it also faces particular structural challenges. These include, in particular, high energy and labor costs, complex regulatory requirements, and a high level of bureaucracy overall.

The expected job cuts describe a global framework and do not represent a statement about specific locations, areas, or functions. The specific details of possible steps will be examined together with employee representatives in the information, consultation, and participation process provided for by law.
