Cardboard City was the name given to an informal settlement of temporary cardboard shelters located near Waterloo station in London, England.

Cardboard City was inhabited by homeless people from 1978 to 1998, with approximately 200 people living there at its peak in the mid-1980s.

After a court order led to the redevelopment of the settlement, Cardboard City was closed in 1998. When it closed, about 30 people still lived there. All were offered free housing.
