Perfecta Schneidemaschinenwerk GmbH is currently undergoing insolvency proceedings under self-administration. At the same time, talks are underway with several interested bidders regarding the future of the manufacturer of cutting machines for the graphic arts and packaging industries.
The Dresden Local Court opened the self-administered insolvency proceedings on February 27. The company is once again paying the wages and salaries of its 86 employees out of its own funds, and business operations are continuing, explains the law firm Schultze & Braun in a statement. At the end of December, Perfecta had filed a petition to open self-administered insolvency proceedings.
In addition, discussions are underway with several interested bidders regarding the company’s assets and future development, the law firm further reports. “With the opening of the proceedings, the interest of several bidders is becoming more concrete", comments restructuring expert Dirk Eichelbaum, who supports the company’s management as general representative.
Perfecta specializes in the manufacture of paper cutting machines and complete cutting systems used, for example, in the commercial and packaging industries as well as in the digital and label printing segments.
